HYDRO INFLATED FLEXIBOLTS

HYDRAPLATE RESIN FLEXIBOLT 15MM OR 18MM

The 3.0m Hydraplate Resin Flexibolt is a flexible Ø 15.2 or 18mm compact steel cable with two bulbs (size and spacing as per customer specification) at the dead end to mix the resin and secure the strand into the back of the support hole using resin capsules. A 165 x 165mm Hydraplate, load indicator spherical seat and a 40Nm 32mm Copper Insert Crossflat nut is used to lock the Hydraplate Resin Flexibolt off and tension it to the pre-determined load at the live or collar end.

Advantages of the Resin Flexibolt:

Easily installed and pre-tensioned either by hand held or mechanised means

Hydraplate Resin Flexibolts do not need to be cropped

Can be installed within 0,5m of the face before the blast

Are available in both 15mm and 18mm strand versions with thread tensile strengths of 200 kN and 300kN respectively, at the collar

Attachments at the Live or Collar end include:

- Ø 15mm x 7 wire strand with 150mm thread

- 32mm Crossflat nut with a 40Nm Copper Insert

- A 3mm Yellow Load Indicator

- A 40mm Spherical Seat

- A 165 x 165mm Hydraplate to pre-stress the anchor

- A 12mm G Hook for safety net attachment

Features at the Dead or Back end include:

- Square cut end to push the resin capsules up the hole without puncturing them.

- Two bulbs, sized to accommodate the hole size, to mix the resin properly and then anchor the strand into the hole.

DT FLEXIBOLT

The DT Flexibolt conventional grouting system is in constant development and with this comes improvements that will enhance the usability of the product and will give advantages to all current users of this product.

The following improvements have been made:

- Grouting improvements by fitting a GV nozzle connector to the conventional filler pipe and by adding a conical sponge and making the existing sponge denser

- A longer 300mm thread and a free running nut have replaced the crimped nut and short thread. This eliminates the “turn back” of the strand that occurred at times

- The longer thread allows for subsequent re-tensioning of the Dt flexibolt. This will reduce the number of units that must be replaced if the plates are loose after a blast

- Spring loaded shell allows for immediate shell activation and active support.

SINGLE OR MULTI-BULBED RESIN FLEXIBOLT

The single or Multi-bulbed Resin Flexibolt is a flexible Ø 15.2 or 18mm compact steel cable with a bulb or bulbs (size and spacing as per customer specification) at the dead end to secure it into the back of the support hole using resin capsules. A washer, load indicator spherical seat and a 32mm Crossflat crimp or shear-pin nut are used to lock the Resin Flexibolt off and tension it to the pre-determined load at the live or collar end.

Advantages of the Resin Flexibolt:

- Easily installed and pre-tensioned either by hand held or mechanised means

- Resin Flexibolts do not need to be cropped

- Can be installed within 0,5m of the face before the blast

- Resin Flexibolts and weld-mesh combinations offers a robust system that provides excellent areal coverage

- Are available in both 15mm and 18mm strand versions with thread tensile strengths of 200 kN and 300kN respectively, at the collar
