2018 ABSOLUTE CABLE

The 2018 Absolute Cable Anchor Solution has been developed to offer a 25t cable anchor that encompasses the most cost effective alternative available, without compromising on safety or production.

FULL CABLE

Now 3.1m long, with a Ø15mm, 7 wire strand. For use with the Front Gripping Nano Jack G2 pre-stressing jack.

LIVE OR COLLAR END OF STRAND

Indicating:

Rubber “Domed” grout Seal with filler pipe extension for GV connector
Green Breather Pipe
125 x 8mm domed dog ear plate
12mm “G” Hook
10t AMS Compact Barrel and Wedge technology

DEAD OR BACK END OF STRAND

Indicating:

Standard 34mm, 3 leaf shell with 15mm tapered cone assembly with a 60mm spring and a blue protective cover
The GET system is also optional

Improvements Include:

A reduction in strand length from 3.5m to 3.1m without compromising effective in the hole strand length
Pre-tensioning is done using the smaller, lighter, front gripping Nano Jack G2
No cropping of the strand is required after tensioning and grouting
The AMS Compact Barrel technology is fitted
The Plate is changed from 150 x 8mm to 125 x 8mm domed, dogeared plate
The grout seal is changed from the sponge unit to a rubber, domed grout seal that adapts to the domed plate for more effective grout sealing
The filler pipe is now incorporated into the grout seal and when fitted with a GV connector allows for easier coupling to the grout pump delivery hose
Inclusion of the GET System to confirm full column grouting is an option

These include the Longbail Anchor (depicted), the Absolute Anchor and the Modikwa Anchor.

Additional Information:

All cable anchors are available in lengths as requested by the end user and are identified by various coloured breather pipes and shell anchor plastic cover.

The 38t Longbail anchor can be supplied to accommodate a range of hole sizes from 38mm to 41mm.

The 38t Modikwa anchor can be supplied to accommodate a range of hole sizes from 42mm to 46mm.

The 38t Absolute anchor can be supplied to accommodate a range of hole sizes from 48mm to 51mm.

The 38t anchors are pre-tensioned to the required load of 18t or 10t depending on your requirements. The AMS Barrel technology is easily identified by the colour coded plastic rings below the snap rings as follows: White – 10t and Orange – 18t.

Advantages

a. The support hole can be drilled with a normal hand held jack hammer

b. By using the “Domed” Mickey Mouse plate the anchor can be post grouted after being pre-tensioned

c. Uses the patented AMS Barrel system to give both an audible and visual check that the anchor has been correctly tensioned

d. Uses colour coded pipes for easy identification of the type and length of the anchor

e. Is easily fitted and supplied with the GET system (Grout Efficiency Tester)
